The first few months
These are very important to ensure the retention of these new employees. Employers must therefore be creative in their ways of integrating them into the company, but their families must also be taken care of.
Préférence Estrie is there to assist employers in their efforts to retain new employees in the region with their families. In addition, some MRCs in the region pay for a portion of our services to support employers in their recruitment efforts.
Our relocation support services include several packages that can be adapted to the needs of your new employees arriving from elsewhere in the country or from abroad.

Packages and rates
Single: Housing, administrative procedures, and support for social integration
Family: Housing, administrative procedures, support for the spouse’s job search, help with children’s enrolment in daycare and school, and support for social integration
Couples: Housing, administrative procedures, support for the spouse’s job search and social integration
À la carte services: If your new employee is in the Eastern Townships temporarily (e.g., assistance in finding housing) or if he or she is requesting one service only (e.g., assistance in finding a job for the spouse), Préférence Estrie’s services are also available by the hour.
